Danube Tools Marketplace

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

Danube appears to be a legitimate marketplace connector, but it gives an agent very broad third-party tool execution and user-scoped write authority through one API key without clear per-action confirmation rules.

Install only if you are comfortable letting Danube-mediated tools act through one API key. Require explicit approval before writes, deletions, messages, purchases, credentialed service actions, workflow or skill changes, and batch executions; connect only accounts you need and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive data in tool parameters.

Finding
The description is extremely broad ('discover, search, and execute anything available'), which can cause the skill to be selected for many unrelated user requests. In an agent ecosystem, overbroad routing increases the chance the agent invokes a powerful external-integration skill unnecessarily, expanding exposure to unintended tool execution and data sharing.
