OpenClaw plugin for MySkool: read and post to your Skool communities (groups, posts, comments, DMs) through the MySkool Data API.
Install
openclaw plugins install clawhub:@webtaken/openclaw-myskoolMySkool for OpenClaw
Give your OpenClaw agent your Skool communities. It can read a group's feed, triage unread posts, read comment threads and your inbox, and, if you allow it, publish posts, reply to comments and answer DMs as your Skool account.
The plugin talks to the MySkool Data API
(https://api.myskool.xyz/v1). MySkool is an unofficial Skool API: you connect
your Skool account once in the MySkool dashboard and get an API key.
Requires a MySkool account. MySkool Pro is $29/month or $290/year, with a 7-day free trial. This plugin is free; the API key comes from your MySkool account.
Tools
| Tool | What it does | Enabled |
|---|---|---|
myskool_list_groups | Groups of your connection (ids, slugs, names) | by default |
myskool_get_group | One group with its post categories | by default |
myskool_list_posts | Group feed, 1-30 pages; sort by newest, unread, recent activity or top posts | by default |
myskool_list_comments | All comments of a post | by default |
myskool_create_post | Publish a post | opt-in |
myskool_create_comment | Comment or reply in a thread | opt-in |
myskool_delete_post, myskool_delete_comment | Delete your own post or comment | opt-in |
myskool_list_dms, myskool_get_dm | Read your inbox and threads | opt-in |
myskool_send_dm | Send a direct message (throttled to a human pace) | opt-in |
A bundled skill teaches the agent the Skool rules: hex group ids, mandatory post categories, plain-text content, and confirming the exact text with you before any post, comment, delete or DM.
Install
openclaw plugins install clawhub:@webtaken/openclaw-myskool
openclaw plugins enable myskool
Requires OpenClaw 2026.5.17 or newer (tested on 2026.6.11).
Configure
-
Create an API key at https://myskool.xyz/keys. Tick the write and DM scopes only if you want those tools: scopes are fixed when the key is created.
-
Give the key to the plugin, either way:
bash # stored in plugin config openclaw config set plugins.entries.myskool.config.apiKey "<your MySkool key>" # or as an env var: add MYSKOOL_API_KEY=<your MySkool key> to ~/.openclaw/.envapiKeyalso accepts a SecretRef, for example{ "source": "env", "provider": "default", "id": "MYSKOOL_API_KEY" }.
Optional settings under plugins.entries.myskool.config:
| Key | Use |
|---|---|
baseUrl | API base URL override (default https://api.myskool.xyz/v1) |
connection | Skool connection id, when your MySkool account has several and the key is not bound to one |
Allow the tools
Plugin tools only reach the agent once the tool policy allows them. Recent
OpenClaw releases add the 4 read tools to the coding, messaging and full
profiles automatically, but older releases (2026.6.x, for example) do not, and
writes and DMs are always opt-in. Allowing them explicitly works on every
version:
# every MySkool tool (writes and DMs still ask you to confirm the text first)
openclaw config set tools.alsoAllow '["myskool"]' --strict-json
# or reads only
openclaw config set tools.alsoAllow '["myskool_list_groups","myskool_get_group","myskool_list_posts","myskool_list_comments"]' --strict-json
openclaw gateway restart
Restart the gateway after changing it, then start a new chat session: a running
session keeps the tool list it started with. If your config already has a
tools.allow list, add the tool names there instead (allow and alsoAllow
can't be set in the same scope).
Try it
- "List my Skool groups."
- "What's unread in my community feed? Summarize the top 5."
- "Show the comments on the latest post and draft replies for the unanswered ones."
- "Who's waiting on a DM reply from me?"
Limits
- 60 API calls per minute per key and 30,000 per month.
myskool_list_postsdrives a headless browser server-side: a few seconds per page.myskool_send_dmis throttled per Skool connection: about one message every 30-45 s, 20 per hour, 100 per day. Sent DMs cannot be deleted.- Not available: editing posts, attachments, deleting DMs.
Prefer MCP?
MySkool also runs a remote MCP server (https://api.myskool.xyz/v1/mcp) with the
same tools and OAuth sign-in. See https://myskool.xyz/docs/mcp.
