pikpak-media-index

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed PikPak media-indexing helper that reads cloud file listings and writes a local report, with no hidden persistence or destructive behavior found.

Install only if you are comfortable letting the agent run your local pikpak CLI to enumerate PikPak file metadata. Treat generated reports as private because filenames, paths, durations, sizes, and partially redacted sources may still reveal sensitive information. Review the disclosed referral code before using any registration command.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Behavioral ASTexec() Call, eval() Call, Dynamic Import
  • Taint TrackingDirect Taint Flow, Variable-Mediated Taint Flow, Credential Exfiltration Chain
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration

Undeclared Tool Scope

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
90% confidence
Finding

The skill declares operational behavior that involves shell execution, possible network access to PikPak, environment use, and file writes, but it does not declare an explicit tool scope or permissions model. That creates a real least-privilege and review gap: an agent or platform may permit broader capabilities than users expect, increasing the chance of unauthorized account access, filesystem writes, or command execution if the skill is invoked in the wrong context.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
93% confidence
Finding

This markdown file uses a single fixed language throughout, and there is no indication that users can opt into that locale or that the skill is intentionally limited to a Chinese-speaking audience. Under the policy, forcing a specific language without user choice can be a natural-language locale violation.

subprocess module call

Medium
Category
Dangerous Code Execution
Confidence
70% confidence
Finding

subprocess module calls execute external commands. Without careful input validation, this enables command injection.

Tainted flow: 'cmd' from os.environ.get (line 154, credential/environment) → subprocess.run (code execution)

Medium

Data Flow
Confidence
84% confidence
Finding

The executable name comes from the PIKPAK_BIN environment variable, so anyone who can influence the process environment can cause the script to execute an arbitrary program. Although this is not shell injection, it is still command-execution via environment-controlled binary selection, which matters if the skill runs in an automated or higher-privilege agent context.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
87% confidence
Finding

The skill description is presented in Chinese first and then English, but there is no explicit statement that the user may choose their preferred language or locale. Under the policy rule, forcing or implicitly defaulting to a language without opt-in can be a natural-language policy concern.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
98% confidence
Finding

The module docstring, CLI help, and status/error output are written in Chinese only, which imposes a specific language on users. The file does not offer any locale selection, fallback, or opt-in mechanism that would justify the language constraint.
