Security audit

Pattern Matching

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a static security-testing pattern collection, and the flagged strings are reference indicators rather than executable payloads.

Install only if you need security-auditing wordlists, and use them only on systems and data you are authorized to test. Expect searches to surface sensitive-looking strings, but this package itself does not send data anywhere or run those strings as code.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns

  • Rogue AgentSelf-Modification, Session Persistence
  • YARA SignaturesMalware Match, Webshell Match, Cryptominer Match

Unsafe Defaults

Medium
Category
Tool Misuse
Confidence
80% confidence
Finding

Tool defaults are unsafe or overly permissive (e.g. disabled TLS verification, no authentication, world-writable permissions). Unsafe defaults widen the attack surface.

Intent-Code Divergence

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The header comments on L01-L02 frame the file as containing 'strings for finding' malicious functionality via grep, implying a detection aid. However, the body is not grep logic or narrowly scoped signatures; it is a broad raw list of dangerous PHP functions and capabilities, including command execution, file writes, environment access, and FTP functions. This is an intent/documentation mismatch because the comments describe a search-oriented artifact while the file content functions as a generalized capability wordlist.

Session Persistence

Medium
Category
Rogue Agent
Confidence
65% confidence
Finding

Skill establishes unauthorized persistence across sessions via cron jobs, startup scripts, or state files. Session persistence allows an attacker to maintain access beyond the current interaction.
