Zyte API

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Zyte API connector wrapper for read-oriented public URL extraction, with no artifact evidence of hidden or destructive behavior.

Before installing, understand that this skill will route Zyte API work through OOMOL's oo connector and may use your connected Zyte API account for public URL extraction. Install the oo CLI and connect Zyte only when you intend to use that service, and review any payload before running future write or destructive connector actions if they are added later.

Finding
The activation text says to use this skill for "ANY Zyte API request" and "Whenever a task involves Zyte API, use this skill instead of calling the API directly," which is overly broad and can cause the agent to invoke the skill in situations where a narrower or safer tool-selection rule would be more appropriate. While this skill appears read-oriented, broad routing language can still create unintended execution, increase attack surface, and make prompt-injection or tool-confusion incidents more likely when user tasks only tangentially reference Zyte.
