U301

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

The skill is mostly coherent for managing U301 links, but its fallback setup tells users to install the required CLI by piping a remote script directly into a shell.

Install only if you trust OOMOL and are comfortable with the oo CLI having access to your connected U301 account. Prefer reviewing the installer or using a verified package/install method before running the remote shell command, and require explicit confirmation before creating or deleting short links.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access

Finding

The skill instructs users to install software via a remote script piped directly into a shell, which executes unverified code from the network with no integrity check or review step. If the install endpoint, transport path, or hosting account is compromised, this becomes an immediate arbitrary code execution vector on the user's machine.

Finding

The invocation guidance is excessively broad: it directs the agent to use this skill for ANY U301-related request, including read, write, and delete operations, without built-in scoping or stronger preconditions. In an agent setting, this can cause over-triggering and route loosely related requests into a capability-bearing skill, increasing the chance of unintended actions or premature access to connected account data.
