Positionstack

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a small Positionstack connector skill that is purpose-aligned, with the main caution being that geocoding requests may send addresses, coordinates, or IPs through OOMOL and Positionstack.

Install only if you intend to use OOMOL as the intermediary for Positionstack geocoding. Be aware that addresses, coordinates, or IPs used in requests may be sent to OOMOL and Positionstack, and review any prompted payload before running actions marked as write or destructive.

The trigger text uses very broad language such as 'ANY Positionstack request' and 'Whenever a task involves Positionstack,' which can cause the agent to invoke this skill automatically in situations where more precise routing or direct user confirmation would be safer. Overbroad invocation increases the chance of unintended external calls, data disclosure to the connector, or user confusion about what system is being used.
