Security audit

Orimon

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

The skill is mostly coherent for using Orimon through OOMOL, but its first-time setup includes an unpinned remote installer executed through the shell.

Review this skill before installing if you are not comfortable with remote shell installer commands. Prefer manually installing the oo CLI from reviewed documentation or a pinned, verified package, and only connect the Orimon account you intend the agent to use.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access

Content
- **`oo: command not found`** — install the oo CLI (other platforms: <https://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

  ```bash
  curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash    # macOS / Linux
  ```

  ```powershell
Confidence
98% confidence
Finding
The skill instructs users to install software via a remote script piped directly into bash, which executes unreviewed code fetched over the network. If the install endpoint, distribution pipeline, or TLS trust chain is compromised, this can lead to arbitrary code execution on the host running the skill steps.
Vague Triggers
Medium
Confidence
96% confidence
Finding
The description says to use this skill for "ANY Orimon request" and "Whenever a task involves Orimon," which is an extremely broad activation condition. It does not provide scope boundaries or negative examples, so ordinary requests that merely mention Orimon could trigger the skill unintentionally.
