Security audit

IPinfo

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward IPinfo connector; its main privacy consideration is that IP addresses and account metadata are sent through OOMOL/IPinfo when used.

Install only if you are comfortable routing IP lookups through OOMOL and IPinfo. Avoid using current-IP or bulk map actions with sensitive networks or large private IP lists unless you intend to share that data with the service, and review OOMOL/IPinfo handling terms for retention and access expectations.

Finding
The skill encourages lookups of arbitrary IPs and the caller's current IP without clearly warning that those identifiers will be sent to a third-party service. Because IP addresses can be personal or sensitive data in many contexts, silent transmission to IPinfo creates a privacy and data-handling risk, especially for current-IP actions that expose the user's own network metadata.
