Security audit

GitLab

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This GitLab skill is a disclosed OOMOL connector wrapper with limited GitLab actions and user confirmation required before writes.

Before installing, confirm you are comfortable connecting GitLab through OOMOL and using the oo CLI. Review proposed write payloads carefully, especially issue creation, and avoid running the one-time install command unless you trust the OOMOL CLI source.

Finding
The invocation rule says to use this skill for ANY GitLab request and whenever a task involves GitLab, which is overly broad and can cause the agent to invoke the skill for incidental mentions rather than explicit user intent. In a write-capable GitLab skill, accidental activation increases the chance of unnecessary external calls or state-changing workflows being initiated in the wrong context.
