DataCite

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward DataCite lookup helper that uses OOMOL's CLI and does not show hidden, destructive, or unrelated behavior.

Install this only if you trust OOMOL and the oo CLI with access to your DataCite-connected account. Be aware that authenticated lookups may expose non-public DOI metadata allowed by your API key, and review any first-time CLI install or account-connection step before approving it.

Vague Triggers

Finding
The trigger text is unusually broad: it directs the agent to use this skill for ANY DataCite-related request and instead of calling the API directly. This can cause unintended invocation on vague mentions of DataCite, increasing the chance the agent routes tasks through this skill when it is unnecessary or contextually incorrect, which can lead to over-broad data access or incorrect tool use.
