Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill provides a narrow investigative checklist for Home Assistant incident analysis and does not add hidden execution, persistence, or mutation behavior.

Installers should be comfortable letting the agent inspect relevant Home Assistant automations, logs, history, and registry metadata for a specific incident. Avoid sharing tokens, MAC addresses, unrelated configuration, or broader history than the incident requires.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
