Security audit

ravenpost

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill provides a clearly disclosed social media connection with previews, user approval before publishing, and revocable access.

Connect only the accounts you intend to manage, and review destinations, content, media, and timing before approving publication. Ravenpost receives submitted content, and approved schedules can publish unattended. Access can be revoked under Connected AI apps; revoking access should not be assumed to cancel existing schedules. The entire supplied skill was inspected, but the hosted service's implementation was not.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

OpenClaw reaches it through Ravenpost's hosted MCP server,
`https://api.ravenpo.st/mcp`. There is nothing to install and no API key: the
server signs the user in with OAuth. The user needs a Ravenpost account — the
free plan (one social account, ten posts a month) is enough to try it — and
connects their social accounts in the Ravenpost dashboard, not here.
