Security audit

Daily Horoscope

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill only runs a local Python script to print Chinese daily almanac guidance and does not show data access, persistence, networking, or privilege-seeking behavior.

Install this if you want Chinese daily almanac guidance. Be aware the output is Chinese-only and the calculations appear simplified for reference, but the artifacts do not request sensitive access or make persistent changes.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
Findings (2)

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Confidence
96% confidence
Finding
The instruction text defines the assistant role and behavior entirely in Chinese, and the example output is also fixed to Chinese. There is no indication that the skill is intentionally limited to Chinese-speaking users or that users may choose another language, which creates a language/locale policy concern.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Confidence
90% confidence
Finding
The module docstring is entirely in Chinese and the script's output strings are also hard-coded in Chinese, which imposes a specific language/locale on users. The policy explicitly calls for flagging language or locale constraints when the skill does not offer a user choice or opt-in.
