AANA Human Review Router Skill

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is an instruction-only safety routing skill that tells agents when to ask for approval or human review before risky actions.

Install this if you want the agent to pause more often for approval or qualified review around sensitive, irreversible, financial, legal, medical, production, or low-evidence actions. Before connecting any optional checker, confirm it is a trusted user- or administrator-approved tool and keep review packets redacted as the skill instructs.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

This manifest-like JSON describes a review route and safeguards, but it does not specify any trigger phrases, activation conditions, or exclusion conditions for when this skill/file should be used. For manifest files, missing specificity on trigger scope can cause ambiguous or overly broad invocation in downstream tooling.
