Security audit

Baseline Kit

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a small offline OpenClaw configuration generator and auditor with user-directed file reads and writes that match its stated purpose.

Review generated configuration files before using them, and be aware that auditing a config may reveal paths to secret-like fields in command output. The tool appears designed for offline local review and does not contact external services.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

This README is written in Korean and the language-selection links present fixed locale variants rather than offering guidance that the user may choose their preferred language. Under the policy rule, forcing a specific language without user opt-in can be a natural-language policy concern, and this file itself is a locale-specific document.

Finding

This file presents the skill documentation entirely in Simplified Chinese, which can violate language/locale policy when the skill content forces a specific language without explicit user choice inside the document itself. Although alternate language files are linked, the active file still imposes a locale-specific presentation rather than offering an in-flow opt-in choice.
