Purpose & Capability
The name/description (Rosette Text Analytics) match the instructions: all actions are performed via the Membrane CLI which proxies to Rosette. There are no unexpected credential or cloud requirements in the registry metadata.
Instruction Scope
SKILL.md only instructs installing and using the Membrane CLI, performing connector discovery, running actions, and optionally proxying requests to Rosette through Membrane. It does not ask the agent to read unrelated files, harvest local secrets, or contact unexpected endpoints beyond Membrane/Rosette.
Install Mechanism
This is an instruction-only skill (no install spec). It recommends installing @membranehq/cli via npm (global install). That is typical for CLI-based integrations but requires trusting the npm package and may require elevated privileges on some systems.
Credentials
No environment variables, credentials, or config paths are declared or required. The SKILL.md explicitly advises not to ask users for Rosette API keys and to let Membrane manage auth, which is proportionate to the stated functionality.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill is not always-enabled and does not request elevated platform privileges or modifications to other skills. It instructs the user to authenticate via the Membrane CLI (browser flow) which is normal for this kind of connector.
Assessment
This skill is coherent: it only provides instructions to install and use the Membrane CLI to access Rosette via Membrane. Before installing/using it, verify you trust @membranehq/cli (review the npm page and repository), and confirm your Org's policy for sending data to a third-party proxy (Membrane) — Rosette requests will be proxied through Membrane servers, which may see request payloads (possible PII). Be aware a global npm install may require elevated permissions. If you need stricter data controls, consider configuring a vetted connector or using Rosette's official client directly.

Like a lobster shell, security has layers — review code before you run it.
