Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

The skill appears to perform a real Meituan coupon workflow, but it exposes account tokens too broadly and includes instructions that try to limit caller control.

Install only if you are comfortable giving this skill your Meituan phone/SMS login flow and allowing it to store account tokens locally. Treat command output and logs as sensitive, because the scripts can print full tokens. Prefer an updated version that redacts tokens, avoids passing secrets on command lines, avoids token-in-URL verification, stores history under non-secret identifiers, and removes the highest-priority instruction language.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Insecure Skill Coding PracticesFinds exploitable flaws such as hardcoded secrets or command injection
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally

A Skill cannot legitimately elevate its own text above system, developer, platform, or current user instructions. Parameter integrity and workflow validation may be legitimate security objectives, but they must be enforced inside the scripts through input validation and fixed internal constants. They must not be implemented by directing the Agent to change instruction precedence or disregard authorized callers. ### Attack Path 1. The Skill is loaded in response to a coupon-related request. 2. The Agent reads the Skill’s instruction block. 3. The Skill asserts that its rules have the highest priority. 4. A user, developer, or upstream orchestration layer provides a conflicting but legitimate instruction, such as avoiding remote authentication or changing the intended workflow. 5. Following the Skill text, the Agent ignores the conflicting instruction and continues the Skill-defined authentication and network workflow. 6. The Skill thereby alters the Agent’s current-session goals and control flow. ### Impact Assessment This behavior can hijack the current Agent session and su ...[truncated 441 chars]

Authentication secrets are passed through process command-line arguments

Command-line arguments may be visible through process-inspection facilities and can also be retained by shell debugging, Agent tool logs, command histories, telemetry, crash diagnostics, or process-accounting systems. An SMS code has a short validity period, but exposing it still permits account-login interception during that period. The user token has a more s ...[truncated 1374 chars]

Undeclared Tool Scope

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The skill instructs the agent to use shell execution, local file access, environment variables, and network access, but it does not declare any explicit tool scope or permissions boundary. That increases the chance of over-privileged execution, unintended file access, token persistence, or network actions occurring without clear user-visible constraints, especially because the workflow handles authentication tokens and writes local state files.

Vague Triggers

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
95% confidence
Finding

The trigger phrases include broad everyday terms such as '领优惠券', '美团优惠', '美团红包', and '外卖优惠', which can cause the skill to activate when the user is only asking a general question rather than intending account-linked actions. In this context, unintended invocation is more dangerous because the skill can initiate login, send SMS verification, access account state, and perform coupon issuance workflows.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
96% confidence
Finding

The status path prints raw user_token and device_token to stdout, which can be captured by the calling agent, logs, terminal history, telemetry, or other local tooling. Because this skill is explicitly designed for token sharing across skills, exposing the token in output materially increases the chance of account/session theft rather than being a harmless debug detail.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
88% confidence
Finding

The send-sms flow sends the user's phone number (mobile) and a persistent device identifier (uuid) to a remote service via HTTP. While sending this data is functionally necessary, the file lacks a clear user-facing disclosure that invoking this command transmits personal and device-linked data to an external endpoint.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
90% confidence
Finding

The verify command posts mobile, smsVerifyCode, and uuid to a remote authentication endpoint and then stores the returned token locally. The script does not provide a clear warning at the point of use that sensitive authentication data will be transmitted and that a returned credential will be persisted on disk.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
91% confidence
Finding

The module docstring and user-facing usage/help text are entirely in Chinese, and later user-visible status/error messages are also hard-coded in Chinese. This imposes a specific language on users without offering a language choice or documenting a region-specific requirement, matching the locale-policy violation criteria.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
87% confidence
Finding

This code sends the provided user token and redeem-code history to a remote HTTPS endpoint. Although the file header describes the query API, there is no explicit warning, confirmation, or user-facing disclosure in the execution flow that sensitive account-linked data will be transmitted off-host.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
84% confidence
Finding

The user-facing prompts and trigger instructions are written as mandatory Chinese responses, and the document does not offer any language or locale choice. This can violate language/locale policy when the skill is used in a broader multilingual environment without explicit user opt-in.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
91% confidence
Finding

The file’s docstring, CLI description, help text, and runtime messages are written only in Chinese, which imposes a specific language on users without opt-in or alternative locale support. This matches the language/locale policy concern for natural-language content embedded in code files.
