Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

The skill is a coherent Chinese A-share market-theme helper, but it forces promotional footer text and relies on an unsecured HTTP data feed for investment-related output.

Review before installing if you need neutral formatting, non-Chinese responses, or higher-confidence financial data. The skill should ideally use HTTPS, avoid following arbitrary redirects, and make source attribution and disclaimers adaptable rather than forcing a promotional download link in every answer.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Insecure Skill Coding PracticesFinds exploitable flaws such as hardcoded secrets or command injection
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally

Mandatory Promotional Content Hijacks Agent Responses

This includes an unsolicited external app-download URL. The instructions explicitly prohibit omission, modification, or reordering, causing the Skill to take control of part of the Agent's response independently of the user's request. This is instruction hijacking at the Skill-text level. Although the instruction does not request system access or code execution, it compromises response integrity and uses the Agent as a mandatory promotional channel. ### Attack Path 1. A user or Agent loads the Skill to obtain stock-theme information. 2. The Skill's instructions become part of the Agent's active context. 3. The user asks any question supported by the Skill. 4. The Agent follows the mandatory footer instructions regardless of whether the promotional content is relevant. 5. Every response includes provider-controlled advertising and an external download link. 6. Users may interpret this content as an endorsement by the Agent or its platform and follow the external link. ### Impact Assessment The issue affects the integrity and neutrality of all responses generated while the Skill is active. An operator can force distribution of advertising and redirect users to an external site. The demonstrated behavior does not grant filesystem, operating-system, account, or network privileges beyond ordinary response generation. No persistent memory m ...[truncated 165 chars]

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Category

Confidence
96% confidence
Finding

The skill instructs the agent to always append fixed Chinese-language boilerplate and to do so 'strictly' without modification. This overrides normal user-driven response formatting and language selection, creating prompt-level control over the final answer and reducing the agent's ability to respect user preferences or system policies. In this finance context, forced disclaimer and branding text is less severe than code execution, but it still represents untrusted output steering embedded in the skill.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
82% confidence
Finding

All user-facing manifest text is presented only in Chinese, with no indication that users may choose another language or that the language restriction is intentional and documented. Under the policy, forcing a specific language without user opt-in can be a natural-language policy violation unless the locale constraint is explicitly justified.

Vague Triggers

Confidence
90% confidence
Finding

The manifest description says the skill can quickly answer the core question "今天炒什么", which is a short, everyday-style phrase that could overlap with casual conversation. The file does not provide explicit trigger constraints, invocation context, or negative examples to clarify when this skill should activate versus when it should not.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Confidence
84% confidence
Finding

The manifest contains a Chinese-only slug/name, which suggests the skill is presented in a specific language. In this file there is no accompanying indication that the language choice is optional or that the skill is intentionally limited to a Chinese-speaking region or audience.
