AgentGen — HTML to PDF & Image

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill coherently documents using AgentGen to render HTML into PDFs or images, with a clear privacy note needed around public temporary asset uploads.

Before using this skill, avoid uploading private images, documents, fonts, or files with sensitive metadata, because temporary uploads are public for 24 hours. Also remember that HTML submitted for rendering is sent to AgentGen's service, and authenticated use requires trusting the installed CLI with AGENTGEN_API_KEY.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

The skill explicitly instructs users to upload local assets and states that the resulting files are publicly accessible for 24 hours, but it does not prominently warn about the confidentiality and privacy implications of doing so. An agent or user following this workflow could unintentionally expose sensitive images, documents, fonts, or embedded metadata through a public URL, especially if local files are uploaded automatically as part of a larger generation pipeline.
