LH HTML to Image

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward guide for rendering HTML/CSS into images with local Chrome screenshots, with only minor activation-scope caveats.

Install only if you want an agent to create local HTML files and run Chrome headless to screenshot them. Be aware that broad trigger words may make it appear for some general poster or image requests, so confirm the task is HTML/CSS rendering before using it.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding
The trigger phrases are broad and generic, such as "poster," "generate cover," and "make image," which can easily match ordinary user requests outside the intended scope of this skill. This can cause the skill to activate unexpectedly, increasing the chance of unnecessary tool use or unintended handling of user content.
