Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a straightforward fact-checking skill that uses search and image review only for user-submitted claims or images.

Before installing, note that this skill may invoke web search or inspect user-provided images when a message looks like a fact-check request. Avoid submitting private images or sensitive claims unless you are comfortable having them analyzed for verification.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

The skill description includes very broad trigger phrases such as “这是真的吗”, “帮我查查这条消息”, “辟谣”, and “fact check”, which can overlap with common conversational requests. This can cause unintended activation, leading the agent to invoke web search or image-analysis workflows in contexts where the user did not explicitly request this skill, increasing the chance of inappropriate tool use, confusion, or privacy-sensitive data being processed.
