Pattern Finder

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a narrow comparison skill that analyzes two user-provided sources without scripts, persistence, or external service calls beyond the user’s normal agent model.

Before installing, note that this skill may be invoked for broad comparison requests; otherwise it is a low-risk Markdown-only analysis aid that should only need the two sources you ask it to compare.

A.I.G

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs

Finding

The trigger example "Compare these for me" is generic everyday language and is not narrowly scoped to this specific skill. Because the surrounding activation guidance does not include exclusions or tighter constraints, it could cause unintended invocation when a user simply asks for a generic comparison.
