GI Code Review

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a simple code-review checklist skill with no executable code, persistence, credential use, or network behavior.

Before installing, understand that this skill may be invoked for broad code-review phrasing and will steer the agent toward a Vue3/FastAPI/Python team checklist. It does not itself run code, install packages, persist settings, or access credentials.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

L03 says to use the skill 'when the user asks for a code review,' which is open-ended and does not define boundaries for when this skill should activate versus a more general coding assistant behavior. Without narrower scope, explicit trigger phrases, or exclusions, the invocation condition is somewhat ambiguous.

Finding

L15 includes phrases like '帮我看看这段代码' and 'review 一下,' which are casual and potentially broad enough to match everyday assistance requests. The file does not provide negative examples or constraints to clarify when these phrases should and should not trigger the skill.
