Transcribe Audio with Parakeet MLX

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward local transcription helper, with the main caution being an unpinned third-party CLI install.

Install this only if you are comfortable running the parakeet-mlx package from your configured Python package source. For tighter control, pin a reviewed version instead of using the latest upgrade behavior, and remember that the tool will read the audio files you pass to it and cache downloaded models locally.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Insecure DependenciesIntroduces malicious components through unsafe dependency sources
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
