Hash Finder

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward hash lookup API wrapper, but users should treat submitted hashes as sensitive because they are sent to an external service.

Install only if you are comfortable sending the specific hashes you submit to the provider's external API. Do not submit production password hashes, customer data, regulated evidence, or secrets unless you have authorization and accept the provider's data-handling practices.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

The skill describes submitting hashes for lookup/cracking but does not clearly warn users that the provided hash values are transmitted to a third-party external service. Hashes can represent sensitive authentication material or incident-response evidence, so silently sending them off-platform creates confidentiality, compliance, and operational risk, especially if users assume processing is local.

External Transmission

Data Exfiltration
Confidence

Finding

The skill references and relies on an external endpoint at api.mkkpro.com, meaning user-supplied data will leave the local trust boundary and be processed by a remote service. In the context of a hash-cracking tool, this is materially sensitive because submitted hashes may be confidential credentials or forensic artifacts, and external transmission can expose them to logging, retention, or secondary use by the provider.
