Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a Pinterest content guidance skill with no executable code, persistence, credential use, or network behavior.

Before installing, note that this skill may activate on broad Pinterest-related mentions and may consult narrowly scoped project context files for keyword and content strategy sections if they exist. It does not contain executable code or request privileged access.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs

Finding

The activation text is broad enough to trigger on generic mentions such as 'Pinterest,' 'Pin,' or 'Pinterest marketing,' which can cause the skill to activate outside narrowly intended tasks. Over-broad routing increases the chance of irrelevant context capture, misapplied guidance, or interception of user requests that should be handled by a more appropriate skill.
