Purpose & Capability
Name/description (AARRR growth funnel) match the SKILL.md content: guidance, metrics, tactics, and related skills. No unrelated capabilities or resources are requested.
Instruction Scope
Runtime instructions are limited to producing growth-framework analyses and suggested actions; they do not instruct reading files, environment variables, or contacting external endpoints. The only runtime behavior is guidance formatting and referencing related skills.
Install Mechanism
No install spec and no code files (instruction-only). Nothing will be written to disk or downloaded as part of installation.
Credentials
The skill declares no environment variables, credentials, or config paths. There are no secret-like requirements that would be disproportionate to the stated purpose.
Persistence & Privilege
always is false and the skill is user-invocable (normal). disable-model-invocation is false (agent may invoke autonomously) which is the platform default and not problematic here given the skill's limited scope.
Assessment
This skill is instruction-only and coherent with its stated purpose: it provides AARRR-based growth analysis and recommends related skills. It requests no credentials and installs nothing. Things to consider before installing: (1) provenance — the source/homepage are unknown, so if you require an auditable vendor you may want to prefer skills with clear authorship; (2) related skills referenced here (e.g., paid-ads-strategy, retention-strategy) may themselves request credentials or installs — review those before enabling integrations; (3) the agent can call this skill autonomously by default (normal behavior), so if you want to restrict autonomous use, adjust your agent's skill invocation settings.

Like a lobster shell, security has layers — review code before you run it.

Strategies: Growth Funnel (AARRR)

Guides growth using the AARRR framework (Pirate Metrics)—five stages of the customer lifecycle. Created by Dave McClure (500 Startups) to focus on actionable metrics over vanity metrics. Use this skill when diagnosing growth bottlenecks, prioritizing improvements, or aligning product, marketing, and customer success.

When invoking: On first use, if helpful, open with 1–2 sentences on what this skill covers and why it matters, then provide the main output. On subsequent use or when the user asks to skip, go directly to the main output.

AARRR Framework

StageQuestionKey metrics
AcquisitionHow do users discover you?CAC, CPA, conversion by source
ActivationDo users reach "aha moment"?Activation rate, time-to-first-value
RetentionDo users return?D1/D7/D30 retention, churn
ReferralDo users recommend?Referral rate, NPS, viral coefficient
RevenueDo users pay?Conversion rate, ARPU, LTV

Principle: Define behavior-based events per stage; analyze by cohort. Quality over volume—channels bringing fewer but more activated users often outperform.
