Security audit

openclaw-teleport

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a legitimate migration helper, but it packages plaintext credentials and can automatically restore files, credentials, cron jobs, repositories, and services, so it needs careful review before use.

Install only if you trust the npm package and the source of any .soul archive. Treat .soul files like password exports: encrypt them, avoid committing or sharing them, inspect archives before unpacking, and review restored credentials, skills, workflows, cron jobs, repositories, and gateway startup behavior.

Vulnerability Patterns

  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
