Blocknative Gas Platform

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a coherent read-only Blocknative gas data integration that clearly discloses its external API use and API-key authentication.

Install this only if you intend to call Blocknative gas intelligence APIs. Use a Blocknative-specific API key, do not reuse unrelated secrets, and review the UXC credential binding and linked CLI if you later want to remove access. The remote schema URL is disclosed; using a pinned or packaged schema would reduce change-over-time risk.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding
The manifest declares a global API-key-style Authorization header, which means user-provided credentials will be transmitted to the external Blocknative service. The schema and surrounding metadata do not explicitly warn users about this outbound credential use or clarify scope, increasing the risk of users supplying sensitive tokens without informed consent.

Static analysis

No suspicious patterns detected.
