Default Model

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This plugin does what it says: it lets an authorized user change OpenClaw's persistent default model setting.

Install only if you want a chat command and Telegram picker that can change the default model used by new OpenClaw sessions. Treat access to this command as administrative because it changes persistent agent configuration.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads

  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
