Coverage Check

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill gives insurance coverage review guidance and asks for sensitive financial details that fit that purpose, but users should share only what is necessary.

Before using this skill, treat policy, income, asset, liability, and household details as sensitive. Provide approximate figures when enough, avoid unnecessary identifiers, and ask the agent not to retain or reuse the information outside the coverage review.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

The skill explicitly instructs collection of sensitive personal and financial information such as age, dependents, income, assets, and liabilities without any accompanying privacy notice, minimization guidance, or handling restrictions. In an insurance context this data is highly sensitive and could expose users to privacy harm, profiling, or unnecessary over-collection if the agent gathers more information than is needed.
