CallForMe

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill openly uses CallForMe to make paid business calls at your request, with controls for decisions, spending, and bulk calls.

CallForMe receives the details you provide for calls and produces transcripts; results may also be emailed. Set spending and call-count limits, explicitly approve booking or cancellation decisions, and review auto-reload before paying. Store the API key in protected secret storage rather than general agent memory. Review transcripts before creating public sharing links.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

r what the business will need: their name (`on_behalf_of`), account or order numbers, dates, the car, limits. `plan_call` (`POST /v1/calls/plan`, no account needed) lists what's likely missing, most important first. Pre-approve likely decisions in `if_asked` ("If they offer another time, anything 7 to 8:30pm is fine. A deposit up to $25 is OK.") so the business doesn't wait on you.
3. **Place the call** with a clear `goal`, `details`, and specific `questions`:
   - MCP: `place_call`
   - HTTP: `curl -s https://callforme.tel/v1/calls -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '{"phone":"+14697707412","business_name":"Maple Street Pizza","goal":"Book a table for 2 tomorrow at 7pm.","on_behalf_of":"Jordan","questions":["Is there a patio?"]}'` (that's the free demo line)
4. **If the response is `needs_setup`** (HTTP 402, first real call only): show the user `message_for_user` (it has a link where they add credit, under a minute). Then call `wait_for_setup` with the `setup_code` / `POST /v1/set
