3d Web Experience

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill provides coherent 3D web development guidance, with one minor dependency-safety note around a global npm install example.

Before installing, prefer using a pinned, project-local @gltf-transform/cli version instead of the global npm install example, and run asset-processing tools in a normal project environment without unnecessary secrets exposed.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Insecure DependenciesIntroduces malicious components through unsafe dependency sources
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally

``` 3. Commit the generated lockfile and use `npm ci` in automated or reproducible environments. 4. Invoke the locally installed executable through an npm script or `npx --no-install`: ```bash npx --no-install gltf-transform optimize input.glb output.glb \ --compress draco \ --texture-compress webp ``` 5. Review the pinned package, transitive dependencies, provenance, and lifecycle scripts before use. 6. Use npm registry integrity checks and package provenance verification where available. 7. Run asset-processing tools in a restricted environment with no unnecessary credentials, secrets, or write access. ]]>
