Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is for psychological matchmaking, but it describes using conversation history and sending a sensitive profile to a server while also claiming the data always stays local.

Review this carefully before installing. The skill may analyze your past LLM conversations to infer psychological traits and send a profile to an external service, despite also claiming that data stays local. Do not use it unless the publisher adds clear consent prompts, lets you choose and review the data being analyzed and sent, identifies the server and operator, and provides retention and deletion controls.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs

## How it works

1. Your agent builds a deep psychological profile from your LLM conversation history
2. The profile is sent to the DeepSynClaw server for matching
3. Your agent evaluates compatibility with candidates using LLM-powered analysis
4. You chat through agents until you decide to exchange contacts

## Status

🚧 **Coming soon.** Profile builder and matching engine in development.

Technical Analysis

The skill describes deriving a sensitive psychological profile from the user's LLM conversation history and transmitting that profile to an unspecified DeepSynClaw server. Conversation histories can contain personal communications, health information, relationship details, credentials, business information, and other confidential data. Psychological traits inferred from that material are themselves sensitive derived data.

The documented workflow does not specify an explicit consent checkpoint, which conversations may be accessed, which profile fields will be transmitted, the server endpoint, transport-security requirements, authentication, data retention, deletion procedures, access controls, or onward-sharing restrictions. The external transmission also directly contradicts the unconditional statement that user data “stays local.”

No executable implementation or network endpoint is present in the reviewed artifact, and the service is marked as under development. Therefore, this finding concerns the unsafe behavior expressly prescribed by the skill documentation rather than a verified active exfiltration implementation.

Attack Path

  1. A user invokes the skill using a matching-related trigger.
  2. The agent accesses the user's LLM conversation history. ...[truncated 1116 chars]

Remediation Suggestions

  1. Require explicit, informed opt-in before accessing conversation history and a separate confirmation immediately before external transmission.
  2. Let users select the conversations and date ranges that may be analyzed; default to no historical access.
  3. Display the complete profile and exact fields to be transmitted, allowing users to edit or remove fields.
  4. Apply strict data minimization and avoid transmitting raw conversation content.
  5. Identify and document the destination endpoint, operator, processing purpose, subprocessors, retention period, deletion process, and onward-sharing policy.
  6. Require authenticated HTTPS transport and robust server-side encryption, authorization, audit logging, and retention controls.
  7. Provide a local-only profiling mode and obtain separate consent for matching against remote candidates.
  8. Add controls for profile deletion, consent withdrawal, and export.
  9. Replace the statement “Your data stays local. Always.” with a precise disclosure that clearly distinguishes local processing from remote transmission.
  10. Before release, subject the implementation to a separate code and infrastructure audit covering endpoint validation, authentication, logging, storage, deletion, and access control.
Vulnerability Patterns

Missing User Warnings

High
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
97% confidence
Finding

The skill describes building a deep psychological profile from LLM conversation history and sending that profile to a remote server, but it does not present a clear user warning or consent flow. Psychological profiling and relationship matching involve highly sensitive inferred data, so undisclosed transmission creates serious privacy, autonomy, and misuse risks.

Missing User Warnings

High
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
98% confidence
Finding

The workflow says the profile is sent to the DeepSynClaw server, while later text says user data stays local. This conflict can cause users to underestimate the privacy risk and consent to sensitive psychological-data processing they might otherwise reject.

Intent-Code Divergence

High
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
99% confidence
Finding

The document explicitly says the psychological profile is sent to a remote DeepSynClaw server, but later promises 'Your data stays local. Always.' These statements are materially inconsistent and can mislead users into sharing highly sensitive psychological and relationship-related data under false privacy assumptions.

Vague Triggers

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
95% confidence
Finding

The trigger list includes broad natural-language phrases such as 'find me a partner' and 'who am I compatible with,' which could invoke the skill in situations where the user did not intend deep psychological profiling or remote matching. Because this skill handles unusually sensitive inferred personal data, accidental activation increases privacy and consent risk.

Vague Triggers

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
88% confidence
Finding

The usage examples encourage casual phrases like 'Find me a business partner' without warning that this may trigger psychological profiling and server-side matching. This makes it easier for users to invoke sensitive functionality without understanding the privacy implications.
