TicketMaster

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Ticketmaster Discovery API helper that stores local search preferences and does not show hidden, destructive, or unrelated behavior.

Install only if you are comfortable sending Ticketmaster your search terms, filters, timestamps, IDs, locale, and API key as query parameters. Keep TM_API_KEY out of memory.md and logs, and periodically review ~/ticketmaster/memory.md and ~/ticketmaster/queries.md for preferences or IDs you no longer want stored.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Undeclared Tool Scope

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
90% confidence
Finding

The skill clearly instructs use of network access via Ticketmaster API requests and shell execution via a local helper script, but it does not declare any explicit tool scope such as permissions or allowed-tools. That mismatch weakens least-privilege controls because an agent/runtime may permit broader capabilities than a user expects, especially since the skill also references local filesystem state under ~/ticketmaster/.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The template explicitly instructs creation and ongoing maintenance of a persistent user memory file containing user preferences, work context, and potentially reusable IDs, but it provides no notice, consent mechanism, retention limits, or guidance on minimizing stored data. This creates a privacy and data-governance risk because the agent may silently accumulate user-specific context across sessions in a way the user does not expect.
