Prayers

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward local prayer journal and scheduler, with the main risk being that it stores sensitive spiritual information on the user's computer.

Before installing, be aware that this skill may create ~/prayers/ and save sensitive information such as faith tradition, prayer routines, intentions, and reflections. Use it on a private device/account, review the files periodically, and delete or secure them if you do not want that information retained.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding
The skill explicitly creates and uses a local workspace under ~/prayers/ to store highly sensitive religious and spiritual data, including faith tradition, prayer routines, reflections, intentions, and logs. Because the description and setup do not clearly warn users that this sensitive information will be persisted to disk, users may disclose intimate data without informed consent, increasing privacy and confidentiality risk on shared or compromised systems.
