Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a documentation-only CRO skill whose analytics and testing guidance is purpose-aligned, with privacy considerations users should still apply when using recommended tools.

Before using the recommended analytics, heatmap, or session-recording tools, configure consent, masking of sensitive fields, retention limits, and compliance review for applicable privacy laws. Treat any implementation or launch of winning variants as a user-directed change that should be reviewed before shipping.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
Findings (4)

Autonomous Decision Making

Medium
Category
Excessive Agency
Confidence
75% confidence
Finding

Skill enables autonomous high-impact decisions without human-in-the-loop verification. Critical operations (destructive commands, financial transactions, data deletion) should require explicit user confirmation.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
93% confidence
Finding

The skill explicitly recommends session-recording and heatmap tools but provides no warning about privacy, consent, data minimization, or masking of sensitive fields. In a CRO context, these tools can capture user behavior, form interactions, and potentially sensitive data, creating compliance and user-privacy risks if adopted without safeguards.

Missing User Warnings

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
84% confidence
Finding

The analytics and form-analysis sections recommend behavioral tracking tools and metrics without disclosing that they collect user interaction data. While common in CRO workflows, omitting notice about transparency, lawful basis, and minimization can lead teams to implement tracking in a non-compliant way.
