Overview

The patent-screening workflow fits its purpose, but API-key exposure and unsafe cache paths warrant review before installation.

Before installing, request HTTPS and approved-destination enforcement for authenticated requests, safe redirect handling, and cache-path containment with patent-identity validation. Use a limited PatentMax key and protect any saved credentials. Searches send company names, patent identifiers and query terms to PatentMax; avoid confidential invention details. Confirm expected charges and verify final pledge status against official records.
