Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward Chinese workflow that sends a user's narration to DeepSeek in Chrome to generate a short-video storyboard script.

Install this only if you are comfortable using DeepSeek for the task. Do not provide confidential, proprietary, regulated, or highly personal narration unless you are comfortable sending that text to DeepSeek through the browser session.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category

Confidence
96% confidence
Finding

The skill explicitly instructs the agent to send user-provided narration text to an external third-party service (DeepSeek) through a browser workflow, but it provides no user notice, consent step, or data-handling warning. This creates a real privacy and data-governance risk because users may supply proprietary, personal, or confidential text that is then transmitted off-platform without informed approval.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Low
Category

Confidence

Finding

Natural-language policy issues apply to all file types, including markdown. This skill appears to force Chinese-only interaction and output conventions, but it does not provide an opt-in choice for language or explain that it is intended only for a Chinese-language context.
