Security audit

simpleerp

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This SimpleERP helper is coherent, but it can have an agent automatically change live ERP business, inventory, and admin data, so it should be reviewed before production use.

Install only if you want an agent to operate SimpleERP directly. Use a test instance or least-privilege API key, confirm the target host, avoid production admin keys, and manually review any create, update, delete, inventory, order, permission, or API-key operation before it runs.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Confidence
94% confidence
Finding
The documentation includes copy-pasteable POST requests that create sale and purchase orders but does not clearly warn that these examples perform state-changing operations. In an agent skill context, users or downstream agents may execute examples verbatim against a reachable ERP instance, causing unintended business transactions, data pollution, or financial workflow disruption.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Confidence
90% confidence
Finding
This documentation includes state-changing inventory transfer and adjustment examples that can modify stock data, but it provides no warning that these operations are destructive or operationally sensitive. In an agent skill context, example commands are likely to be reused directly, increasing the chance of unintended stock movement, inventory corruption, or business disruption if run against a live SimpleERP instance.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Confidence
92% confidence
Finding
The workflow documentation includes ready-to-run POST requests that create customers, sale orders, suppliers, and purchase orders, but it does not warn that these examples will modify live ERP data if executed against a real environment. In an agent skill context, users or downstream agents may copy or invoke these commands directly, causing unintended records, financial documents, or operational data changes.
