Security audit

BoldSign

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

The skill is a coherent BoldSign integration, but it asks users to install and allowlist an unpinned third-party plugin that will handle OAuth-backed document and signing actions.

Review the ClawLink plugin source, publisher identity, requested OAuth scopes, and installed version before using it with production BoldSign documents. Prefer private upload flows or short-lived signed URLs for contracts, and avoid making sensitive documents permanently public.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Insecure DependenciesIntroduces malicious components through unsafe dependency sources
  • Insecure Skill Coding PracticesFinds exploitable flaws such as hardcoded secrets or command injection
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
