Security audit

Weather Aqi

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This weather skill does what it advertises, with expected external weather and AQI API calls and no persistence or destructive behavior.

Install only if you are comfortable with searched locations being sent to Open-Meteo and WAQI. Use a dedicated WAQI token if possible, and do not rely on the artifact's VirusTotal-clean claim as current proof because the supplied VT status is pending.

Finding
The skill sends user-supplied location data and derived latitude/longitude to external geocoding, weather, and AQI services without any visible disclosure, consent, or minimization controls. Even if necessary for functionality, this creates a privacy risk because potentially sensitive location information is transmitted to third parties and correlated across services.
