Recipe Create Doc From Template

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a simple Google Docs recipe that copies a template, writes example content, and shares the resulting document, with no hidden code or persistence.

Before installing or using this recipe, replace the template ID, document ID, content, and collaborator email with your intended values, and confirm that granting writer access is appropriate for the document contents.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding
The skill instructs the agent to grant document access to a collaborator email address without any warning, confirmation, or validation step about disclosure of the generated document's contents. This can cause unintended sharing of sensitive or internal information if the template or inserted content includes confidential data, especially because permission changes are an external side effect with security implications.
