Amazon Product Details by Gecho

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Amazon product-detail workflow that uses Gecho's MCP bridge and Chrome extension, with no artifact-backed evidence of hidden data theft or destructive behavior.

Install only if you are comfortable using Gecho Bridge with a logged-in Chrome/Amazon session. Prefer a pinned or bundled Gecho Bridge version when possible, and review the Chrome extension and MCP package publisher before configuring the npx @latest setup.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • System Prompt LeakageDirect Leakage, Indirect Extraction, Tool-Based Exfiltration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

MCP Rug Pull

97% confidence
Finding

The skill instructs users to install and run an MCP server via npx ... @latest, which pulls and executes the newest published package version at runtime rather than a reviewed, fixed release. If the upstream package is compromised or a breaking/malicious update is published, users could unknowingly execute attacker-controlled code on their system.
