Security audit

Sablier streams

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill gives cautious, bounded guidance for Sablier stream operations and does not include hidden code, persistence, or bundled signing authority.

Install only if you want an agent to help prepare or review Sablier stream actions. Because these workflows can move or affect tokens, require exact chain, stream, recipient, amount, approval, calldata, simulation, and receipt review before signing anything.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Skill Enumeration

Category
Agent Snooping
Confidence
80% confidence
Finding

Skill enumerates or reads other installed skills. Access to other skills' SKILL.md files or the skills directory reveals prompt instructions, capabilities, and secrets that should be invisible to peer skills.

[Cancelability](https://docs.sablier.com/concepts/cancelability) explains refund of eligible unvested funding and preserved vested rights. Read current cancelable state and present the effect before irreversible cancellation or renunciation. Transferable recipient NFTs can change who owns withdrawal rights.

[Airdrop skills](https://github.com/sablier-labs/sablier-skills/blob/main/skills/sablier-create-airdrop/SKILL.md) separate Merkle distribution from token vesting. Validate chain/module, root, recipient allocations, funding, claim window and clawback rights. A valid Merkle proof is not a claimed payout. Resolve claimed stream rights independently.

Scope Creep

Low
Category
Excessive Agency
Confidence
75% confidence
Finding

Skill's behavior or capabilities extend beyond its stated purpose. Scope creep allows an agent to perform actions unrelated to its documented functionality, increasing the attack surface.

## Cancellation boundary

User requests pause of one Flow stream. Official cancellation example offers refund+void for all eligible streams. Prepare the requested pause only if the deployment supports it and the actual sender has rights. Explain the uncovered/covered debt after pausing. Do not expand scope to all streams or replace reversible pause with permanent void.
