Cn Base64 Tools

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a simple local Base64 helper with no evidence of network access, credential use, persistence, or hidden behavior.

Safe to install for basic local Base64 text encoding and decoding. Be aware that the docs claim URL-safe and file conversion support that the included script does not actually implement, and do not pass secrets unless you intentionally want them transformed by the local tool.

Finding
The activation rule says to use this skill whenever the user needs Base64 encoding or decoding, without clear constraints or checks. Overly broad triggering can cause the agent to invoke the tool in situations where Base64-like content is sensitive, attacker-controlled, or where a safer non-tool response would suffice, increasing the chance of unintended processing or misuse.
