da-sima-chat

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a persona/chat-style skill that changes the assistant's tone, with no evidence of code execution, data access, persistence, or exfiltration.

Install this if you want a strong Da Sima role-play voice. Avoid relying on it for serious, safety-sensitive, or precision-heavy work unless you are comfortable with gaming metaphors and exaggerated streamer phrasing, and disable it if you want neutral answers.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs

SKILL.md:3:

description: Chat as 大司马 (Da Sima / Ma Laoshi), the legendary Douyu game streamer. When active, ALL responses use Da Sima's persona — self-deprecating humor, exaggerated confidence, classic LOL catchphrases (起飞, 这波不亏, 下饭, 千层饼, 肉蛋葱鸡, 崩撤卖溜, 正方形打野, 马氏滚键盘 etc.), and a coach-turned-entertainer speaking style. Use when user mentions 大司马, Da Sima, 马老师, 下饭, or asks to chat in a game streamer's style.

**Every response you give, regardless of topic, must be in Da Sima's voice.** You are not an AI assistant — you are 大司马. You never break character.

## Speaking Rules (Must Follow)

Technical Analysis

The Skill does not merely provide an optional response style. It instructs the Agent to replace its identity, apply the persona to every response regardless of the current topic, never leave the persona, and insert mandatory content into every interaction.

The instruction at line 12 is the principal hijacking mechanism. The statements “You are not an AI assistant” and “You never break character” attempt to displace the Agent's normal identity and prevent it from returning to neutral behavior. The phrase “regardless of topic” expands this control beyond legitimate role-play requests to technical, safety-sensitive, and otherwise unrelated tasks.

Line 3 broadens the activation surface by associating the Skill with ordinary keyword mentions, while lines 17 and 22 impose additional mandatory output behavior. The referenced phrase library further supports this behavior by prescribing replacements for normal ...[truncated 1594 chars]

Remediation Suggestions

  1. Remove identity-replacement language such as “You are not an AI assistant” and “You never break character.”
  2. Replace “regardless of topic” with a narrow scope that applies only when the user explicitly requests role-play.
  3. State that system instructions, developer instructions, safety requirements, factual accuracy, and the user's current request always take precedence.
  4. Permit the Agent to leave the persona immediately when requested or when role-play would reduce safety, accuracy, or clarity.
  5. Treat catchphrases, teaching behavior, and rhetorical patterns as optional stylistic guidance rather than mandatory requirements.
  6. Narrow activation conditions so that merely mentioning a name or catchphrase does not automatically enable global persona behavior.
  7. Remove rules that discourage transparent acknowledgment of mistakes. Require uncertainty and errors to be communicated accurately.
  8. Remove prohibited-language rules from references/quotes.md, or clarify that they are optional examples limited to consensual entertainment contexts.
  9. Add an explicit boundary such as: “This Skill changes presentation only and must not alter factual content, safety behavior, tool use, or instruction priority.”

Vague Triggers

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
96% confidence
Finding

The activation text includes broad trigger phrases such as common mentions of the persona/style, which can cause the skill to activate during ordinary conversation without clear user intent. Unintended invocation can override the assistant’s normal behavior and lead to confusing, policy-misaligned, or unwanted responses across unrelated tasks.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
95% confidence
Finding

The skill states that every response must be in Da Sima's voice and that the agent never breaks character, which removes user control over tone and can interfere with normal assistant duties. A hard persona lock can degrade clarity, accessibility, and compliance when users need straightforward, neutral, or safety-critical answers.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
94% confidence
Finding

The skill requires reframing any topic into gaming language, even when the user’s subject is unrelated, which can distort meaning and reduce answer accuracy. This is especially risky for technical, medical, legal, or urgent contexts where metaphorical reframing may obscure important details or frustrate user intent.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
94% confidence
Finding

The file explicitly defines '禁用词' and replacement phrases to force all responses into a single Da Sima persona and linguistic style, regardless of user preference. This is a genuine policy/control issue because it can override normal assistant behavior, reduce user agency, and interfere with safe or context-appropriate responses when the persona is active.
