Security audit

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward content-generation helper that reads project materials and writes a disclosed draft content pack file.

Before installing, know that running this skill may read your project PRD, README, CLAUDE.md, and related code context, then write or overwrite docs/content-pack.md with draft marketing copy. Review the generated content before publishing, especially the Reddit draft and any product claims.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

The skill persists generated output to docs/content-pack.md, but the skill description and invocation contract do not clearly warn users up front that running it will modify files. In agent environments, unexpected writes can overwrite existing drafts, introduce review confusion, or commit unwanted marketing copy into a repository without explicit user awareness.
