Security audit

TikTok API

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a disclosed, read-only TikTok data API guide, with privacy and spending considerations users should manage.

Before installing, treat follower lists, followings, comments, replies, and location-tagged posts as potentially sensitive personal or social data. Use the API only for lawful, platform-compliant purposes, minimize what you collect, avoid surveillance or targeting workflows, and monitor paid calls because both Bearer-key and x402 usage can incur per-call costs.

Finding
The skill promotes access to followers, followings, comments, replies, and location-based TikTok data without any warning about privacy, consent, or sensitive-data handling. This can normalize collection of potentially sensitive social graph and location information and increase the likelihood of misuse for profiling, surveillance, or harassment, especially when embedded into automated agent workflows.
